1. Do you travel for portrait sessions?

Yes! I am based in Semmes, AL but will travel to Mobile and nearby surrounding areas. I will also travel to Baldwin County for additional travel fee. Mileage is included in the first 30 miles. Mileage beyond 30 will be charged at the current Alabama Standard Mileage Rate of $0.70/mile for 2025.

2. Is a retainer required to book?

Yes. Fifity percent of the cost of your photoshoot is required to reserve the date. Once paid, the retainer is non-refundable.

3. What does a portrait session timeline look like?

1) After completing the Contact form I will send you a questionnaire for you to complete so I will know the type of session you are interested in booking. The questionnaire will also help me get to know you and/or your family better.

2) Once I receive the completed questionnaire, I will reach out to schedule a Zoom or in-person meeting to discuss portrait session visions and provide details for what the actual shoot will look like.

3) Two weeks prior to your session we will discuss locations and outfit choices.

4) On shoot day we will meet at the selected location and begin to create some magic!

5) Seven to ten days after your shoot, depending on the type of session selection, we will meet in person for your proofing session. You will select which digital images you would like and which images you want in your album.

6) It's time to get excited! Final edited images and any products ordered will be delievered 2-3 weeks after your viewing session.

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

Yes. Digital files are available.*

To give clients a tangible way to treasure their memories, I offer beautifully crafted albums, acrylic block prints and metal prints . These deliverables ensure that photographs are more than just digital files—they become lasting keepsakes - a family heirlooms!

*Note: I do NOT sell RAW (unedited) files.

5. what if i need to cancel?

The retainer is non-refundable but you are welcome to reschedule your session within six months of the date of your original session. New date is contingent upon the availability of the photographer.

6. Will I be required to sign a contract?

Yes. The contract spells out what to expect, deadlines, payment dates, photoshoot locations, etc. After the retainer has been paid and a date selected, you will receive the electronic contract via email.

7. how would you describe your style of portrait sessions?

My studio is different than other photographers. I don't pigeon hole my style of photography. If you want light and airy - you get light and airy. If you want lights and more moody, I can do that too. We will work together to make you look amazing!

8. what are my investment options?

Some clients spend $500 while others spend upwards of $1500 or more. I will work with you to select the package that works best for your needs and budget.
